Akribos XXIV AK426RG Rose Gold Snakeskin Band Skeleton Men's Watch Review
Judging by the experiences of several other reviewers, this watch has some unacceptable issues, which one does not expect for a relatively expensive brand. However, I have not found this to be the case with my watch so far, nor do I think it is cheaply made (I purchased the one with the black band and silver case). The band is genuine snakeskin, watch came in a beautiful presentation box, and for the price, is fantastic value (there was a ticket in the box showing an RRP of $795! It is very stylish, (so far) keeps excellent time - it's right up there with two expensive (battery powered) Swiss watches I've had for years - and it is fascinating to watch the works literally ticking the time away. Although a man's watch and larger than I expected from the website photos, it looks great on my fairly slim wrist, is comfortable, and attracts heaps of comments - seems to me that there's aren't too many 'skeletons' on Australian wrists! Although the instruction sheet says it is waterproof I wouldn't put that to the test; however I've never done this with any watch since ruining one in the surf when I was a kid. My only criticisms are the band is quite stiff, but I'm hoping this will soften up as it 'wears in'; and with the 'skeleton' on view it can be a bit hard to see the hands, especially in low light.
